The IAABO Team Camp is an opportunity for officials to learn from fellow officials.  It is a great environment to receive feedback, ask questions, watch fellow officials and built relationships with future partners.

IAABO 173 team camp

The IAABO Team Camp is perhaps the premier high school team basketball camp in the St. Louis region.  Organized and hosted by IAABO 173, the leading area teams come together to compete over a four day period in June.

In addition to a great opportunity for the team and coaches to get together and play, the Team Camp is a training and educational opportunity for IAABO 173 officials.  IAABO 173 members, all MSHSAA certified, referee all games under the supervision of veteran officials who serve as clinicians.  Individual calls, mechanics and positioning, team officiating and game management are evaluated and reviewed in real-time.  It is a terrific opportunity to learn the fine points of officiating while having fun refereeing competitive games.  Each official is rated on each game they work with the ratings used to determine their assignments in the coming high school basketball season.
